This page is considered an official policy on the Trapped in the Closet Wiki.

It has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that everyone should follow. Except for minor edits, please make use of the discussion page to propose changes to this policy.

Blocking is the means by which an administrator prevents a user account or IP address/range from editing the Trapped in the Closet Wiki. Blocks are preventive rather than punitive measures used to prevent damage by dealing with vandalism and enforcing Trapped in the Closet policies. Block duration may vary, depending on the severity and longevity of vandalism, but in most instances a block can be lifted if the editor agrees to stop the damaging behavior.

Grounds for blocking Edit

  • Vandalism
  • Spam
  • Move vandalism
  • Inappropriate account naming
  • Disruption
  • Copyright violations
  • Blanking pages
  • Fanon
  • Posting personal information of others, or your own if under the age of 13
  • Open proxies
  • Editing only user pages and not articles (see Project:User page policy)
  • Abuse of Trapped in the Closet's file upload function
  • Violation of consensus
